Kyran Madoc is the king of cards. He works exclusively at the King's Candle at the behest of his employer and benefactor Anthond Morle. Kyran has a keen eye and a deft hand, and is easily able to count cards, forge names, and trail a mark. These skills allowed him to survive on the streets, but his silver tongue granted him the connections he desired to gain his current position. Kyran's motivations for working for Anthond are only known by few, but he does well to mask the distain he has for his employer and the wealthier patrons of the King's Candle.
