Artist Agreement

This Artist Agreement ("Agreement") applies to any person who applies to and is approved as an artist on the Role Call marketplace, operated by Framework and Fable LLC doing business as Role Call ("Artist"). By accepting this Agreement during the application process, you agree to be bound by it. This Agreement is part of, and supplements, our Terms of Service and Marketplace Terms; if there is a conflict on a marketplace matter, the Marketplace Terms control.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be capable of legally entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• All work you list must be your original creation. You may not list commissions for art that infringes any third-party intellectual property.
• You must be able to receive payment via Stripe Connect in your country and complete Stripe's onboarding.

You are an independent creator. Nothing in this Agreement makes you an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Role Call. You set your own commission terms, scope, and schedule, and you are responsible for your own work and tax affairs. Role Call provides the marketplace and facilitates payments; the commission contract is between you and your buyer.

Unless you and a buyer agree otherwise in writing:

• You retain full copyright ownership of all commissioned artwork.
• The buyer receives a personal, non-commercial license to use the artwork for their tabletop RPG campaign and personal use.
• Commercial licensing (streaming, merchandise, publishing) must be negotiated directly between you and the buyer.

You represent that your listed work is your own original, human-created work (or that you hold all necessary rights), and you will disclose your use of any tools where our policies or a buyer's terms require it — consistent with our AI Policy. You grant Role Call a limited, non-exclusive license to display your portfolio images and commission products on the marketplace to market your services.

• Payments from buyers are processed via Stripe Connect under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which you must accept.
• Role Call retains a platform fee disclosed in your artist dashboard; Stripe charges separate processing fees.
• Payouts are transferred to your connected Stripe account on Stripe's payout schedule. Role Call is not liable for delays caused by Stripe or your financial institution.
• You are responsible for all taxes owed on your earnings. Depending on your volume and location, Stripe may issue tax forms (such as a Form 1099-K).
• Chargebacks and refunds on your sales are your responsibility and may be deducted from your balance or future payouts, as described in the Marketplace Terms.

• You must deliver commissions within the timeframe stated in your listing.
• You must communicate promptly with buyers if delays arise.
• If you cannot complete a commission, you must notify us and the buyer promptly, and a full refund will be issued.
• Delivered work must match the scope described in the commission product listing.

You may not list or produce commissions that include:

• Sexually explicit content (NSFW) of any kind;
• Content that sexualizes or harms minors;
• Hate speech, slurs, or content targeting protected groups;
• Copyrighted characters or IP without a license;
• Any content illegal under applicable law.

We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend artist accounts for violations of this Agreement, the Marketplace Terms, or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice. Disputed suspensions can be appealed by emailing your_familiar@rolecall.games.

The disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification in our Terms of Service apply to your activity as an Artist. You are responsible for your work and your dealings with buyers, and you agree to indemnify Role Call for claims arising from your commissions or your breach of this Agreement.
