Community Guidelines

Our Community Values
Role Call exists to help people find great tabletop RPG experiences. That only works if everyone feels welcome and safe. These guidelines describe the behavior we expect from everyone on the platform — players, GMs, and artists alike.
The vibe at your table is sacred. We take that seriously.
Role Call is an adults-only platform — everyone here is 18 or older. These guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service; violating them can also violate the Terms.
What We Expect
Respect Everyone
Treat every person on the platform with dignity. Disagreements happen — handle them like adults. Harassment, bullying, and hate speech are never acceptable, full stop.
Honor Your Commitments
If you sign up for a game, show up or give adequate notice. GMs who schedule paid sessions are counting on you. Players who've joined a campaign are counting on their GM. Ghosting hurts real people.
Communicate Honestly
Be upfront about your play style, experience level, and expectations — especially during Session Zero. The platform works best when people are honest about who they are and what they want at the table.
Use Safety Tools
Support the use of safety tools (X-card, Lines & Veils, etc.) at the table. If a player invokes a safety tool, respect it without question or discussion in the moment.
What We Will Not Tolerate
Harassment & Hate Speech
Any conduct that targets a person because of their race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, nationality, or other protected characteristic is prohibited. This includes slurs, dehumanizing language, and sustained targeting of an individual.
Sexual Content Involving Minors
Any content that sexualizes or harms minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
Scams & Fraud
Collecting payment for games you do not intend to run, misrepresenting your qualifications or experience, or any other deceptive financial conduct is prohibited.
Privacy Violations
Sharing another user's personal information without their consent ("doxxing") is prohibited. Screenshots of private messages shared without consent may also violate this rule.
Spam & Automation
Automated posting, bulk messaging, or any use of scripts or bots to interact with the platform without our written permission is prohibited.
Reporting & Enforcement
If you witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it to your_familiar@rolecall.games. Include as much context as possible. We take every report seriously.
Depending on the severity, violations may result in:
- A warning
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to law enforcement where required
We do not guarantee a specific outcome for any report, but we will investigate and act.
